A casual Abbey Clancy puts on her dancing shoes again for another week of rehearsals on Strictly Come Dancing

by Unknown  |  at  15:43

There's not much time for either sleep or rest when you're a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
That's very much the case for talented Abbey Clancy, who not only has to fold in her rehearsal and appearance duties on the show, but also her modelling work, plus her biggest job of all, being mother to two-year-old Sophia Ruby.
The 27-year-old, who dances with partner Alijaz Skorjanec on the show, scored the third best result last Saturday night.

On the leaderboard the pair received 37 points from the judges, coming just after fellow contestants Natalie Gumede and Susanna Reid who tied on 39 - the highest scores for this series of Strictly Come Dancing so far.

With another week of demanding rehearsals, there was no time for Abbey and Strictly chums Natalie and Sophie Ellis Bexter to be too upset over Saturday night's spate of dressing room thefts as they took part in the live show from the Blackpool Tower.
According to reports, items stolen included iPhones, iPads and cash, with the trio left 'very upset' by the incident.

While she may have been upset about the Blackpool dressing room thefts on the show, Abbey has actually been even more heartbroken that it was Fiona Fullerton who was booted off the show on Sunday.
'Sooo upset my adopted mummy '2FionaFullerton has left the competition,' she tweeted sadly. 'Such a classy beautiful lady will miss u xxx'

For the remaining eight contestants on the show, however, there is no let-up from the gruelling schedule of learning a new dance every week to perform on the show and trying to keep up with the ever-improving competition.
On her Twitter feed on Tuesday, Abbie posted a wistful 'here we go again #keepondancing'.
On Wednesday she was seen heading to a rehearsal studio in London for Strictly. It was also revealed that this coming week Abbey and partner Alijaz will perform a paso doble to dance hit You Got The Love, originally by Candi Stanton and later revived by Florence + The Machine.

Board leader Susanna, with dance partner Kevin, will be Cha Cha-ing to the classic Hound Dog from Smokey Joe’s Café and Elvis Presley, while her main rival in Natalie and partner Artem will Tango to Rihanna’s recent hit Where Have You Been.
Hollyoaks' Ashley Taykor Dawson and partner Ola will waltz to 'I Will Always Love You', originally written by Dolly Parton and made famous by Whitney Houston, while Casualty's Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya will dance the Viennese Waltz to Celine Dion's A New Day Has Come.
Sophie and partner Brendan will do the Rumba to Amy Winehouse's version of the 60s hit Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, while Mark Benton and partner Iveta will attempt a Foxtrot to Michael Buble's It's A Beautiful Day. Fans of Ben Cohen will no doubt enjoy watching the rugby hunk and partner Kristina dancing the Charleston to No Diggity from Minimatic.

Keep cosy like Abbey in a black bomber jacket

Abbey Clancy may currently be wowing the judges and viewers with her glitzy outfits and ambitious dance moves on Strictly Come Dancing, but the 27-year-old looked a million miles away from the glamour of the show when she nipped out to run errands on Wednesday.

Dressed in an all-black ensemble the model looked low-key, relaxed, and as ever impeccably turned out.

Abbey's stylish-yet-practical hooded jacket which she carried under her arm immediately caught our eye. It is by Toronto-based company Canada Goose, who specialise in luxury outdoor wear.

With the weather turning colder, now is the time to invest in a jacket to see you through the winter months.

Lots of the winter coats and jackets on offer have a formal feel to them, but a hooded bomber with a fur-trimmed hood like Abbey's is perfect for anyone looking for a jacket with a more relaxed sporty feel.

You can buy Abbey's exact jacket right now by clicking the image on the right. Alternatively shop our gallery of the best fur-trimmed hooded bomber jackets for less in the gallery below.
