'Don't judge... there's an age difference!' Kathy Griffin, 53, and Randy Bick, 35, step out after she defends their relationship

They've been practically inseparable since meeting at Los Angeles food festival Taste LA last year.

And Kathy Griffin was dutifully accompanied by her toyboy Randy Bick as the couple left their New York hotel Wednesday.

At 53, the racy comedienne is 20 years older than her marketing executive beau.

The two-time Emmy winner was grinning ear-to-ear as she clutched two trays of mini-cupcakes in her quilted jacket and trainers.

It was a far cry from the skin-tight Michael Kors leather dress she donned for The Late Show with David Letterman Tuesday.

Kathy addressed the couple's 'radical' age difference while chatting with the late-night host.

'Don't judge. There's an age difference. I'm 53 and he's 34. That's right,' Griffin proudly announced.

Letterman than dryly replied: 'What is he an archeologist?'

The flame-haired funnywoman then revealed her new rule for dating.

'Cher honestly did say that no matter how old I get my boyfriends can never be over 35,' Kathy told Dave.

'The ghost of Sonny [Bono] lives in her house. We'll be in the bedroom watching movies and ordering the Nobu, and she goes, "Sonny is that you?" It's very spiritual.'
The 66-year-old presenter then asked how the former Mayor of Palm Springs would manifest himself.
