The Russian supermodel, 31 - who has three children with ex-husband Lord Justin Portman - linked to a Facebook post made by Mr Arnault yesterday, which confirmed the news.
He uploaded five photographs of them together looking loved-up while at home in Paris and on their travels, along with a caption explaining that they do not yet know the sex of their baby, due in May.

He wrote: 'Hi everyone, big news today! Giving a little brother or sister to Natalia's three wonderful children is something we wanted so much: and now it's happening!
"We're going to have our first baby next year!!! Number four for her but number one for me... I'm a little stressed! She was tired the first three months but is fine now.'
Mr Arnault is hoping their child will inherit the supermodel's looks and share his sense of humour.
He joked: 'I hope he or she gets mummy's looks (and beautiful heart) and daddy's sense of humour!!! Pleaaaaase not the other way around! [sic]'
Ms Vodianova - who is mother to Lucas, 11, Neva, seven and Viktor, six - revealed on Facebook that she has been 'eating all the time' during her fourth pregnancy.

She added the first few months have been particularity 'tough' forcing her to cancel work and social plans.
She wrote: 'Please read cute post by future daddy and share our big news.
'This will explain to many of my friends and colleagues why I have been cancelling on them so often recently.
'One guy who drives me said to my assistant that I am having a nervous breakdown because I am eating all the time in the car!'

Ms Vodianova and Mr Arnault confirmed they were dating in August 2011 after being photographed kissing on holiday in Ibiza.
The news came just months after it was announced Ms Vodianova had separated from English aristocrat Mr Portman - whose family own 110 acres of prime central London property - after nine years of marriage.
