She rose to fame as the bare-footed, husky-voiced teenager on the X Factor.
But
five years on, the 22-year-old has transformed into a sexy pop star,
even posing in just her knickers for December's front cover of FHM.
Transformation: Diana Vickers has graduated from bare-footed husky-voiced teenage pixie to mega-sexy pop star for FHM coverage
In other photographs, the Blackburnian posed seductively on a bed whilst reading a copy of The Motorcycle Diariers.
And in another shot lay on her stomach, kicking up her feet, which were covered in a pair of pink fluffy socks and brown leather strappy sandals.
She left out her silky blonde locks in a middle parting and wore minimal make-up, with just a touch of smokey eyeshadow and lip tint, which exposed her flawless complexion.
Lost My Mind: Diana poses for a series of sexy shots for the December edition of FHM
Diana, who was also interviewed by the magazine, said: 'Before the shoot, I was really scared about taking my clothes off in front of everyone, but I got into it, and it was really good fun.
'I’ve been brought up with FHM so it’s a real honour to be asked to be on the cover!
She added: 'I don’t see myself as a sex symbol at all, but I know it’s part of my job to be kind of sexy. I just don’t really think of myself like that.'
Enjoyable experience: Diana said she was initially nervous about taking off her clothes but enjoyed it in the end
Give everyone a piece of your mind in a slogan crop top
Diana Vickers might have lost her mind, but
she hasn't lost us as fans in the style stakes. She definitely loves a
good slogan - if it isn't her Brian Lichtenberg Homies T-shirt she's
rocking, it's a Filles A Papa bikini. And we can see why - a slogan top
is a surefire way to make a statement, and is a trend that the fash pack
are all obsessed with. So if you've got something to get off your
chest, you might as well say it in style.
Diana's is by Lazy Oaf, an increasingly popular brand, whose quirky designs have been picked up by the girls of The Saturdays and Little Mix, and even the boys of One Direction.
We love the sugar pink pastel hue of this top, with gives a girly glamour, and yet this look is all grown up. And this isn't a style that's only for FHM - wear yours with a high waisted pencil skirt or cut off denim shorts for a somewhat more covered-up style.
Diana's very crop top is unfortunately now sold out at Nasty Gal, but if you've lost your mind (and heart) to Diana's darling look, head to our edit of the best of the rest below. Boohoo's crop is far from just a generic slogan T-shirt, or why not crop it like it's hot (literally) at ASOS?

The singer also recalled her time as a barefoot X Factor contestant in 2008, saying: 'I was 16 – I didn’t know who I was. I wasn’t an artist, I didn’t write my own music, I didn’t know what I wanted to be.
'Now I’m 22 and I know the sort of artist I want to be. And when I perform, I wear shoes!'
She added: 'I think maybe (the show) should go away for a few years and come back again fresh. When you see something too much it’s good to step away from it and then come back to it. It makes you appreciate it a bit more.'
Showing off her bod: In August, Diana was seen partying at the Ocean Club in Ibiza dressed in a skimpy Tomboy bikini
The singer-songwriter and actress is
preparing for her role in a West End production at the same time as
promoting her second album, Music to Make Boys Cry.'It is a great opportunity to go to the West End again and my acting means the world to me. It was really annoying because my album has come out at the same time as the show. I am probably my record company’s worst nightmare,' Diana told the Lancashire Telegraph, and who is playing the role of Holly, in political comedy The Duck House, which is due to open on December 10.
Fashion-forward: Diana has been known to be an
experimental dresser, often trying out unusual prints (left) or quirky
accessories (right)
'I am loving everything that is happening around me at the moment and there’s always lots of exciting opportunities. Releasing an album and not being on tour has been quite random. I am sure everyone thinks I should be on tour.'
It will be the second time that Diana has appeared in London’s West End stage following her lead role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice in 2009
