Posh move: The Beckhams 'splash out on a £40 million London mansion' after selling their beloved Beckingham Palace

by Unknown  |  at  02:29

It seems as if money is no object to the Beckham family.
Victoria and David have reportedly just splashed out on a £40million house and are said to be spending another £5million on renovations.
The Sun reports that the four-storey mansion will include a hair salon for Posh and two rooms to house her shoe collection. There will also be a room for hairdressing, manicures and make-up.
Staff and security will have access to a tunnel which will take them unseen to a second property.
Miss the place? David is sad to be sad to sell their first family home

The couple have already installed a sound system so that music can be played in every room in the West London pad using a phone or computer and they are planning on adding specially designed waterproof plasma TV's in every bathroom.
Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight and daughter Harper, two, will take over the second floor of the house which has three bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms.
The lower ground includes a study, a gym and massage room, three service rooms and a small garden and there is an underground garage where David can keep his fleet of cars.
David and Victoria have reportedly sold their Hertfordshire home, known as Beckingham Palace for £12 million.
According to the Sun On Sunday, the Beckhams decision to sell up was down to 'the beginning of a new era for the family.'

A source told the tabloid: 'David in particular was desperately sad to sell the family home as their are so many memories there. They have had years of happiness in the home, but practically now there is no need to keep it.'
The Beckhams bought the 12-acre estate just three months after their wedding, allowing Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, and Cruz, eight, to call it home for a few years before their move to Spain then Los Angeles because of their dad's footballing career.
The price of the house - a 9.5 million profit from when they bought it in 1999 for 2.5 million - includes several sports cars, which reportedly includes one of his favourite Ferraris, and in addition, two Jaguars and the family's £2.6 million holiday home in France.

Do it like a dude in a masculine tuxedo

Here are a couple of sharp shooters. What a chic couple they make. While David Beckham is in Burberry, Victoria is wearing one of her own design cape style tuxedo jackets and it is too sophisticated for words.
A classic tux has long been a failsafe choice for the discerning and stylish woman - ever since Yves Saint Laurent introduced the world to 'Le Smoking' tuxedo jacket in 1966 - a velvet or wool suit recreated for the female form - elegant style mavens have been tapping into their masculine sides and playing with gender and androgyny.
And now VB has reimagined it yet again in a cape style taking it beyond its origins and bringing it into the modern day. If you like this look but don't want to go the whole way with matching trousers then it's still possible to get involved with this most dapper of trends. Just sling a well cut jacket over your LBD or even over skinny jeans and a white tee for a touch of the Marlene Dietrich look.
Victoria's cape jacket is available at Net-a-Porter now but at over £2000 it's a little on the toppy side for most budgets. So take to the high street instead and try Asos, Jaeger and Zara for affordable androgyny.
Then, if you can, find a handsome man to pair up with with... David and Victoria forever!

The family of six have been staying in the country mansion since returning from Los Angeles, after David's football contract with LA Galaxy came to an end.
Now the retired footballer has more time on his hands to focus on his kids, as well as outside ventures including his new restaurant with pal Gordon Ramsay, Union Cafe in Borough.

The Sun On Sunday also report that they family hope to spend the school year in the UK , while making sure they get to enjoy the Californian sun during their kids' holiday.
The source said: 'They want the California sunshine for the kids but the education system of the UK - so they're getting the best of both worlds.'
The Beckhams will reportedly move out of the palace after Christmas, allowing the new owners - supposedly a 'thrilled' husband and wife - a fresh start for the new year just like the famous family they bought the house from.
Mail Online have contacted David and Victoria's representatives for comment.
