Rebecca Adlington and Alfonso Ribeiro became the next celebrities to leave the jungle after a double eviction.
Alfonso, 42, who was the seventh celebrity to leave the contest, said that while he believed he would make it to the end of the competition, he was happy to go home to his wife and one-month-old son.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star told hosts Ant and Dec on leaving the show: ‘I almost lost it out there I’m ready to see my wife and AJ. Thank you for giving me my wish!’

He said that one of the worst parts of the show was eating an emu egg, saying it was ‘unbelievable how nasty it was.’

Alfonso also denied that there was a ‘hate campaign’ against Amy, who had frustrated some members of the camp by not following the rules on bikinis and contraband items, such as makeup.
He said: ‘At the end of the day Amy is a young person who does not see the world outside of herself that well’

Rebecca said that she had been upset that ‘one campmate went against the rules’ and was ‘selfish’.
But she explained that she had slowly got used to life at camp, despite being a ‘hotel girl not a camping girl’.
She said that at the beginning she was wrapped up in her sleeping bag ‘with one eye out’.
On being asked about her fascination with former Westlife singer Kian Egan, she said she is rooting for him to win.
She said: ‘Kian is one of the nicest men I have ever met. I want Kian to win, everyone in there wants Kian to win.’
