Find a Job M&S Wine Feedback Wednesday, Dec 04 2013 9AM 28°C 12PM 28°C 5-Day Forecast A Glee-ful choice! Lea Michele selects figure-hugging festive crimson lace for Women of Worth awards in New York
by Unknown |  at 03:18
With December swinging into its
glittering stride, Lea Michele decided to celebrate the season with her
dress despite enduring a year she'd rather forget.
The beautiful Glee star slipped into a stunning embellished red lace Dolce & Gabbana dress for the L'Oreal Women of Worth Awards at the Pierre hotel in New York city.
With her hair swept up and just a slick of nude lipstick, the brunette was an utter triumph.
She's been working tirelessly on her debut album as well as on the Glee set.
So Michele was no doubt relieved to have the opportunity to sneak back to her home city of New York over the weekend, where she managed to snag a fun day out with friends on Tuesday before the big event/
The 27-year-old talented triple-threat could not hide her joy as she playfully embraced old pals during a fun day out in SoHo, where she assembled an elegant look that looked to have been inspired by Audrey Hepburn.
Proving she's a true New Yorker at heart, the star was clad head-to-toe in garments that were all at once cosy and fashion-forward.
Dark blue skinny jeans showed off Lea's slim pins, whilst the rest of her ensemble was a stylish all-black mish-mash of leather and faux fur.
The actress and singer added inches to her petite frame with sizeable black suede ankle booties and made sure no wind was slipping through the cracks with a snug turtleneck sweater.
A quilted leather jacket complete
with a fluffy collar and a chic black leather handbag made up the
remainder of Lea's outfit, whilst she shielded her pretty face with
elegant tortoise shell sunglasses.
A classy knotted up-do and well manicured bangs completed the starlet's Audrey Hepburn inspired look for the day as she braved the chilly winds of New York City.
The pretty singer broke into a delighted grin as she surveyed something on her girlfriend's mobile phone, before hurling herself happily into the arms of a male friend for a giant bear hug.
But it wasn't all play for the busy Glee star, who has been working hard on putting together her debut album entitled Louder.
Her first single, Cannonball, is set to be released on December 10 and it looks as though a part of her trip to the Big Apple was spent promoting the brand new track and music video.
So Lea also made a visit to the VEVO offices on Tuesday, where she posted a snap of herself beaming proudly beside a giant version of her Cannonball single cover with the words 'VEVO welcomes Lea Michele' printed on the front by the popular music video website.
'So excited to be at the @VEVO office!' Lea wrote in a caption alongside the Instagram snap. 'Thrilled to have my music video for #CANNONBALL premiere soon with them!'
And the work didn't stop there, for on Monday the stunning singer was posing at a photoshoot for V Magazine.
Whilst the bereaved star is bravely embracing life and all the opportunities presented it is clear that her lost love - Cory Monteith, who tragically passed away in July of this year - is never far from her mind.
Lea has confirmed that she has dedicated two songs on her album to Cory titled, You're Mine and If You Say So.

Tom Daley, 19, pictured with Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter and rumoured 'boyfriend' Dustin Lance Black, 39
by Unknown |  at 02:03
Tom Daley is reportedly dating Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter and activist Dustin Lance Black, twenty years his senior.
Daley and Dustin were pictured getting coffee at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Hollywood last week according to website Queerty.
The 19-year old British Olympic diving medallist came out as bisexual to his fans via a video message, and revealed he is currently dating a man.
Now multiple sources claim he is in a relationship with Dustin, 39, an American LGBT rights activist and celebrated figure in the film industry.
Daley, who was seen dining out in London on Tuesday night, and Dustin were reportedly introduced at the Soho
Hotel in London this summer.
A source told The Sun: 'He's besotted with Dustin. They love each other and aren't concerned what anyone says about age difference.'
'Dustin is very proud of Tom for making such a powerful statement about his sexuality,' the source continues.
'They are officially in a long term relationship and are talking about having a future together.
Tom is said to be travelling back and forth to Los Angeles to visit Dustin, part of Hollywood's inner circle, who is regularly pictured rubbing shoulders with stars such as Leo DiCaprio, Clint Eastwood and actress Penelope Cruz.
Daley talks about his boyfriend in his video message, where he said: 'Come spring this year my life changed massively when I met someone and it made me feel so happy, so safe, and everything just feels great. And, well, that someone – is a guy.’
He admitted that ‘it did take me by surprise a little bit’ but ‘something just clicked’ and ‘it felt right’, adding: ‘My whole world just changed there and then.
'Of course I still fancy girls but, I mean, right now I’m dating a guy and I couldn’t be happier. It feels safe and it really does feel right.’
On
Tuesday night, Daley was pictured heading out to dinner at London's
Inamo restaurant and earlier, he had been at the ITV studios where he
was recording for the Jonathan Ross talk show.
He looked fashionable in dark blue skinny jeans, a matching blue T-shirt with a shiny navy blazer over the top as well as chunky brown trainers.
The sportsman looked happy and relaxed as he made his way out of the restaurant into a waiting cab accompanied by friends and his mother Debbie Daley.
Dustin came out at a similar age to Tom, during his high school senior year and after spending much of his youth hiding his sexuality.
'I became intensely shy, I had thoughts of suicide,' Dustin told The Bay Area Reporter in 2008. 'I was a pretty dark kid, because I had an acute awareness of my sexuality, and was absolutely convinced that I was wrong.'
Now through his career in film, television and on stage, Black has brought the LGBT subject to the foreground, starting with his directorial debut, the gay romance film The Journey of Jared Price, then on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 2008 film Milk.
The
Oscar-winning film told the story of gay activist Harvey Milk,
California's first openly gay elected official who was assassinated in
1978 because of his unfaltering campaigning for LGBT rights.
Dustin himself has leant his voice to many a equality campaign, most recently to highlight the anti-gay laws in Russia.
Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black's representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.

"I
adore Taylor Swift, and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria
Secret Fashion Show," Jessica Hart told Us last month.

Jessica Hart fans can relax. The Victoria's Secret model has not been fired after her surprising comments about country pop sensation Taylor Swift following the taping of the annual fashion show last month in NYC.

The lingerie brand's chief marketing officer, Edward Razek, told Us Weekly on Tuesday, Dec. 3, "There is no truth to the rumors that Jessica Hart has been fired or that she will no longer work with the brand. As you will see, she was a great part of our show and we look forward to continuing to work with her."

Hart, 27, first found herself in a contentious and incredibly awkward situation on Nov. 13, after she told WWD that the Grammy winner "didn't fit" on the runway of the famed fashion show. "I don't know, to me, she didn't fit," said the 27-year-old stunner. "I don't know if I should say that." (During the show, Swift, 23, sang "I Knew You Were Trouble" and strutted her stuff alongside Hart, Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo and other Victoria's Secret Angels.)

Following the brouhaha over her comments, the leggy supermodel spoke with Us exclusively to clarify what she had said about the "I Knew You Were Trouble" crooner. "I adore Taylor Swift, and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. What Taylor does on stage is nothing compared to what we do," Hart told Us on Nov. 15. "I could never get up there and do what she does! She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night."

Razek also stepped in last month and told Us that Hart's original quips were "wildly misinterpreted." He added on Tuesday, "As previously reported, we at Victoria’s Secret and all those involved, including Jessica Hart, were thrilled to have Taylor be a part of the show. We look forward to sharing her performances next week during the television special.”

Amy's revenge: Annabel, Laila and now Matthew. Miss Universe GB 2013 might not win I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but she is having the last laugh, says Jim Shelley
by Unknown |  at 15:26
Amy Willerton has virtually no chance of winning I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here compared to Joey Essex or Kian Egan.
But it looks as if she is playing the largest part in determining the fate of the other competitors in this year’s show.
Three of the four contestants to be voted out of the jungle (Annabel Giles, Laila Morse and now Matthew Wright) were the ones to take heavily against her and the other, Lucy Pargeter, could well follow having gained what was surely only a temporary stay of execution after making up with Amy and surviving at the expense of Vincent Simome, who proved to be a disappointment - a poor man's Gino D'Acampo.
The most surprising eviction - and the one that most supports the idea that the first few votes have revolved around Amy - was that of Laila 'Mo' Morse.
In theory Laila Morse appeared to have been a popular figure both in the camp and with the public thanks to her no-nonsense manner, her ‘maternal’ role and following with fans of EastEnders.
She also tackled her Bushtucker Trial with great aplomb and good humour, wearing a pair of see-through trousers with a large snake inside and letting crocodile lie on top of her – even if it was not quite the ‘seven foot’ monster that she later claimed.
But, following on from Annabel Giles the night before, ‘Mo’ duly became the second celebrity to be voted out by the public.
Their accents couldn’t be more different but Morse and Giles had one thing in common. They had both relentlessly attacked ‘poor Amy’, savaging her for concealing her concealer; deriding her for being lazy and aloof; and above all, accusing her of committing that cardinal sin of all Reality TV show - ‘playing a game’.
Now they appear to have paid the price.
Whilst it’s unlikely that the
voters (most of whom are young or female) will actually choose Amy as
this year’s winner over Joey or Kian, they clearly haven’t taken kindly
to what Willerton has described as more ‘cattiness’ than she has ever
seen in all her time in pageants. (That’s beauty pageants, not jousting
and so on.)
Giles clearly took exception to WIllerton (in her role as the 'third saviour') telling Kian and Joey that she did not particularly want immunity from the first vote, and that she wanted to go on holiday with her daughter.
'It's just a lie,' she whined to Morse and Matthew Wright, without ever explaining why Willerton would make up such a claim.
‘I don’t know why Amy would
wish me ill,' Giles sobbed later on. 'I can't think of a polite, decent
and politically correct way of saying it. But when you're on to someone,
they usually know don’t they ?'
The public knew who they believed - or didn't care - and voted her out.
‘I’ve decided to sacrifice myself on the altar of truth and integrity ' Giles later insisted, perhaps unwisely quoting disgraced politician Jonathan Aitken and conveniently ignoring the fact that it was the public who had decided she should be 'sacrified.'
Laila Morse meanwhile resorted to type and her character in EastEnders.
'I know people like her back outside, do you know what I mean?' she growled, as if they were all in Walford nick. 'What they aim for, they go and get, and they stab people in the back to get there. I’m 'olding my tongue but when I get out I’m go to f**king tell her.'
After they saw that her idea of 'holding her tongue' seemed to mostly consist of a barrage of swear words about the beatific Amy, the public decided that she was next for the chop.
Amy's enemies were dropping faster than an Agatha Christie novel.
It all suggested one thing: Lucy Pargeter and Matthew Wright were next.
Sure enough, Matthew Wright went in a joint eviction with Vincent Simone.
Wright's meanness towards the relatively harmless, placid pin-up was compounded by the lack of chivalry he demonstrated and the fact he couldn't even excuse himself on the grounds of jealousy, like most of what Amy diplomatically described as the 'older' women.
‘I hope to God I don’t have to stay with her another 24 hours,' he sucked up to Mo, describing Amy as a 'backstabber' which was a bit rich as he was hiding in the bushes whispering at the time.
'Indulgent' was one of the nicer things he had to say about her.
Pargeter may inadvertently won herself one more night by making up with Amy after the intervention of Rebecca Adlington as 'peacemaker' but having bitched about her for the first two weeks, ultimately she won't last long. After all, she doesn’t bring much else to the party – besides being nasty to Amy.
I wouldn't be surprised if Adlington followed, having been unable to overcome her own insecurities about her looks and unhappy childhood memories being compared to girls like Amy when first confronted with her in the camp. The sight of a debate between a valiant Olympic gold medalist debating the ethics of beauty contests with the shiny-haired Miss Universe UK candidate was at best a mismatch and at worst unbecoming, especially when Rebecca started whining 'she's got these push-up bras...Why can't she just be a normal girl?' - the implication being that somehow she wasn't.
By the time Morse felt the need to reassure her 'you are beautiful - much better than her', it had all become rather ridiculous considering we were dealing with grown adults, not school children.
As for the others, Alfonso
and Steve Davis have disappointed and whilst it would be nice to think
that David Emanuel could cause an upset, the fact is, the cliché is NOT
‘Nice Guys Finish First.’
So, as we could have predicted from the beginning, it will come down to a showdown between the good-natured former Westlife pin-up and the loveable TOWIE simpleton.
Otherwise, so far this year’s I’m A Celebrity has been all about Amy.
But it looks as if she is playing the largest part in determining the fate of the other competitors in this year’s show.

For some reason, female contestants such as
Annabel Giles, Laila Morse, Lucy Pargeter and Rebecca Adlington (right)
have taken against poor Amy Willerton, GB's Miss Universe candidate and
I'm A Celebrity pin-up
The most surprising eviction - and the one that most supports the idea that the first few votes have revolved around Amy - was that of Laila 'Mo' Morse.

Now they appear to have paid the price.
Like many of the other camp-mates, Laila 'Mo'
Morse spent the last few days slagging off Amy Willerton for the way she
had concealed her concealer and was 'playing a game.' But she paid the
price by being voted off by the public
Giles clearly took exception to WIllerton (in her role as the 'third saviour') telling Kian and Joey that she did not particularly want immunity from the first vote, and that she wanted to go on holiday with her daughter.
'It's just a lie,' she whined to Morse and Matthew Wright, without ever explaining why Willerton would make up such a claim.
Laila Morse (insert) expresses her remorse at
the way she, Annabel Giles and Matthew Wright had been hiding in the
bushes, whispering about the way Amy Willerton was, of all things, a
'back-stabber'. Now two of them have gone
In case viewers weren't feeling enough sympathy
for the way she was being picked on, a tearful Amy Willerton opened up
her heart to Rebecca Adlington and asked her to reach out to Lucy
Pargeter - all while wearing just a hat and a bikini, naturally
'I know people like her back outside, do you know what I mean?' she growled, as if they were all in Walford nick. 'What they aim for, they go and get, and they stab people in the back to get there. I’m 'olding my tongue but when I get out I’m go to f**king tell her.'
After they saw that her idea of 'holding her tongue' seemed to mostly consist of a barrage of swear words about the beatific Amy, the public decided that she was next for the chop.
Grin and bare it: after Lailia and Annabel were
voted out, Lucy Pargeter could be next to pay the price for bitching up
'poor Amy'
Amy's enemies were dropping faster than an Agatha Christie novel.
It all suggested one thing: Lucy Pargeter and Matthew Wright were next.
Sure enough, Matthew Wright went in a joint eviction with Vincent Simone.

'Indulgent' was one of the nicer things he had to say about her.
An outbreak of peace in the war between Pargeter
and Willerton negotiated by Rebecca Adlington is unlikely to save the
acid-tongued Emmerdale harridan for long
Pargeter may inadvertently won herself one more night by making up with Amy after the intervention of Rebecca Adlington as 'peacemaker' but having bitched about her for the first two weeks, ultimately she won't last long. After all, she doesn’t bring much else to the party – besides being nasty to Amy.

Laila Morse's Bushtucker Trial was not enough to
save her from viewers unimpressed by the way she had picked on Amy -
even though it included letting 'a seven foot crocodile' lie on her

This year's contest will almost certainly come down to a choice between Joey Essex or... Joey Essex
Ex-wife of Kelly Clarkson's husband Brandon Blackstock blasts infidelity claims as 'ridiculous
by Unknown |  at 15:10
Kelly Clarkson's husband Brandon
Blackstock was at the center of a 'cheating' claim on Monday after an
anonymous source alleged to a website that they currently having
relations with him.
However, Brandon's ex-wife Melissa Ashworth has come forward to Radar, calling the claim 'ridiculous'.
The initial report emerged on gossip website The Dirty, that claimed to have received an anonymous letter detailing the alleged infidelity.
'We haven't slept together, but we've been intimate in other ways,' the anonymous source said in the letter.
But Brandon's ex-wife Melissa tells Radar: 'This is ridiculous … this silliness, I have my two children [by Brandon] right here, who I love.'
She continues, 'I adore Kelly and Brandon as a couple, so if I say anything it’s going to be positive.'
Earlier this year, Brandon
faced other claims from a family friend named Jerry Reed, who accused
him of 'running around on' his ex-wife Melissa during their marriage.
Brandon finalized his divorce in 2012 before he began dating Kelly.
Meanwhile Kelly, who is expecting her first child with husband Brandon next year, confessed she is experiencing non-stop nausea as she is still in the first trimester.
The 31-year-old star told
America's TODAY show last month: 'I don't know why they call it morning
sickness. That's my big joke right now because it's all day and all
night. I am super-excited about being pregnant, though. I'm just looking
forward to the second trimester . . . they say it's better.'
Kelly, who was very open in the past about her desire to start a family, also explained why she decided to share her happy news so early in her pregnancy.
She said: 'We were trying to wait until the end of my first trimester because you're supposed to, I guess, because you're less likely to have a miscarriage.'
'But everybody kept talking about it and I had to cancel something because I've been so ill. I didn't want people to think I was cancelling because I'm lazy or something, so we just told people.'
However, Brandon's ex-wife Melissa Ashworth has come forward to Radar, calling the claim 'ridiculous'.

Happy couple: Kelly and Brandon tied the know in October this year in an intimate ceremony with family and friends
There's no place like home! Lea Michele channels Audrey Hepburn as she happily embraces old friends in hometown of NYC
by Unknown |  at 14:58
She's been working tirelessly on her debut album as well as on the Glee set.
So Lea Michele was no doubt relieved to have the opportunity to sneak back to her home city of New York over the weekend, where she managed to snag a fun day out with friends on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old talented triple-threat could not hide her joy as she playfully embraced old pals during a fun day out in SoHo, where she assembled an elegant look that looked to have been inspired by Audrey Hepburn.
Proving she's a true New Yorker at
heart, the star was clad head-to-toe in garments that were all at once
cosy and fashion-forward.
