It was just two days after the death of her beloved husband.
But Tracey Ullman put on
a brave face as she stepped out for coffee with a friend at Cafe Luxxe in the Los Angeles neighbourhood of Brentwood on Friday.

Producer Allan McKeown passed away from prostate cancer aged 67 on Christmas Eve at their home in Los Angeles. He was surrounded by his family.

Tears of a clown: The 53-year-old comedienne and her 67-year-old husband would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Friday
The comedienne looked pale and drawn as she sat in the sunshine outside the cafe, talking to a pal.
Tracey, who will turn 54 on Monday, wore a pale blue jumper, blue tracksuit bottoms with a blue and white geometric design on the side of the leg, and wrapped a dark blue scarf around her neck.
Despite her smile, the sadness was etched on the celebrity's make-up free face. Tragically, the couple would have celebrated their 30th anniversary on Friday.
The duo worked on a series of hit TV shows together including Tracey Takes On...which aired on HBO in the US.

It ran from 1996 to 1999 and won the couple several Emmys and other awards, as well as being nominated for a Golden Globe.
Another of their hit shows, State Of The Union, ran from 2008 until 2010.
The couple met and married in 1983. They have two children, Mabel, 27, and Johnny, 22.

A fan Facebook page for Tracey announced the producer's death, describing him as a 'terrific man' and shows a photo of the couple kissing.
A memorial service is due to be held in London for Allan in the new year.
Tracey, who has dual British-American citizenship, will next be seen on the big screen in Into The Woods, starring Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Chris Pine in the story of a witch who teaches fairy tale characters some hard-learned lessons.
